Next to writing and photography, gardening is one of my biggest hobbies and passions. During the spring, I love getting down in the dirt, pulling weeds and planting new flowers or watching perennials reappear. In winter, I love looking through gardening magazines, jotting down ideas for the next year. I love it all, but I think the saddest part for a gardener is watching the beautiful blossoms fade.
