This is my friend Abby. We met several months ago through mutual friends and connected immediately. She is full of energy and our photo-shoot was absolutely crazy! I loved every minute!

Shout-out!

Well, since I've already done one shout-out this week, I may as well do another. Some of you may remember Kristin, my uber cute friend who was here for the summer. Well, to my surprise, I received a card from her today (because like my other friends, she is moved back to school this week). Just look at this folks. Seriously. She puts my doodles to extreme shame. Thank you, Kristin. You are too awesomely sweet and waaaaaay too creative. I want art lessons over Christmas break, okay?

This weekend, I'm pretty sure I set a new, personal record. 1000 pictures. I was able to go through all of them last night and cut that number in half (do I really need 50 pictures of my reflection in a spoon???). I also labeled, sorted and organized the pictures into their proper folders. Now I just need to back them up.

(hammocks are the best way to relax in the summer!)

This weekend has been so full. I have so many pictures to process and put together for posts, so be on the lookout! Before I head to bed, I just want to give a special shout-out to my close friend Danielle. She is leaving Michigan and is moving to California for a year. Danielle and I have been really close since we met over 10 years ago. We have shared so many secrets over the years and she's definitely one of my biggest photography fans. A fellow photographer (who is light years ahead of me), she lets me know how I can improve. She is amazing. I'm gonna miss you girly!
